Reverend Keron R. Sadler
Keron R. Sadler serves as the Executive Director of the Maryland Association of Resources for Families and Youth (MARFY). In this role, she is responsible for developing and executing the strategy, goals, and tactics for MARFY, representing the statewide voice for child welfare providers and the broader nonprofit community serving children and youth. She represents member agencies in legislative matters, establishes legislative agendas, leads grassroots advocacy efforts, and plays a pivotal role in developing legislation to enhance the quality of services for children, adults, and families. Keron advocates on behalf of the provider community to improve the state’s system of care for the families served by MARFY members. She also directs the association’s strategic initiatives, lobbying efforts, and the development of collaborative partnerships.
Before joining MARFY, Keron was the inaugural Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the MD LGBT Chamber of Commerce, where she implemented effective business practices to elevate the organization. For over a decade, she served as the National Health Manager and LGBTQ staff lead at the NAACP National Headquarters, the oldest civil rights grassroots organization advocating for equality. She has a proven track record of mobilizing communities around complex issues using innovative approaches and is a dynamic speaker advocating for disenfranchised groups. As a committed DEI Trainer, she facilitates education and awareness to influence behavioral change.
As a change agent across various national sectors, Keron has a proven track record of capacity-building in communities around complex issues with innovative approaches. She is a pioneering leader who implements and sustains organizational strategies to achieve optimal goals. An accomplished and dynamic speaker, she is dedicated to being a voice for marginalized, ostracized, and alienated demographics.
Keron is the founder of KRS Ministries - affectionately known as Lady Keron and a co-author of the “Daily Dose of Direction Devotional for Women in Business”. Ordained as an Elder in the African Methodist Episcopal Zion (AMEZ) Church, she now serves in the United Church of Christ (UCC).
A retired United States Army Reserve Officer, Keron is also trained as a Marriage & Family Psychotherapist (MFT) and holds a Bachelor of Art degree from American Baptist College, a Master of Divinity from Hood Theological Seminary, and a DEI certificate from Cornell University.
